For the last weekend of my 1st week of holi's My church youth group went for a weekend to Philip Island just 2 hours away from the city. it was a great camp and we had pastor mike from paradise live in brisbane as our camp speaker. After the camp we sent half the campers off by bus and the remaining traveled by car and we stopped at a dairy farm on the way home to have a shake.

Sydney Trip

My Sydney trip was a good one, I went down with my sister to attend my cousins wedding
it was a short trip but it was good.

We left Melbourne on Thursday evening and arrive Sydney at night.

On Friday we spent the day in the City with Sarah and her Brides mates to shop for their dresses for the wedding.

Then on Saturday we went to Cambeltown for the my cousins church service and then to Liverpool for the wedding Dinner.

Then on Sunday morning we had to catch the morning flight to return to Melbourne to go for Phantom of the Opera.

Char Kueh Teow

For International students lunch I cooked Char Kueh Teow for 150 ppl. it was so difficult to cook 15 packets of Kueh Teow with a small fire, I will jot attempt it again, However it came out great and everyone enjoyed it.

I also made Cendol from scratch and used it to make Cendol Agar Agar.

New Semester

This semester my time table is crazy
I have Supervision, Stock Control, Finance, Safety and Security, Food Safety, Plated Desserts, Gateaux making and cake decorating.

The practical classes are fun but the others are tiering and soul draining.

On Monday I start at 8 and finish at 6, Tuesday at 8.30 and finish at 4.30 and I am off on Wednesday and Thursday I start at 8am and finish at 9.30pm and friday I start at 12 and finish at 4.30.

Then I work on the week end so basically I am pretty much packed.

Harry Potter

Hi beloved reader, sorry i have not written for 3 weeks have been very hectic with classes and assignment.

Harry Potter's book was released on the 21st July and the Q was unbelievable. I lined up for 1 hour to get my book and my free owl. But it was totally worth it.

After getting my book I joined my sister ahnd her life group for yam cha in the city and then i headed of to work. By time I got home was after midnight and i was so tired but manage to read 2 chapters of the book before sleeping. Then on sunday I was working and had no chance to finish the book but i manage to finish the book by tuesday evening.

It was really good but so sad that it is the last book.

2 saturdays ago someone, dunno who went up to our church's stage and helped themselves to almost all of our microphones. They managed to get hold of the 2 choir mic's, 6 backup singers mic's, 2 drum overhead mic's and 2 SM57's.

How awe full can people get, stealing from a church.

We just purchased new microphones and now we have to undo them and put away after every service.

Healesville Sanctuary

Today, Saturday the church organized a visit to Healesville Sanctuary where they keep abandoned animals and also keep the animals breed alive.

The day started in church at 8.45 in the morning with 30 people boarding the bus. and we came back at 5.30pm. It is located on the eastern suburb area.

Jo Ann's Birthday

Today after IGNITE, my cell members planned and early surprise birthday for Jo Ann, as most of my cell members are headed home for the winter break.

After IGNITE the guys all took the tram to wen ting's house. and I stalled in the church with jo ann and the other gals.

So we were telling Jo Ann that we were going for supper and she was exited. Now we had to get her to Wen Ting's house and did not know how, so Wen Ting was planning to ask me in the car to take her home because her friend was waiting downstairs to grab something, and when I was there I would ask if I could see her house.

The hard part was when we got to Wen Ting's house:

Jo Ann: You guys go up to Wen Ting's place and I will go home to grab some money

(At this point we were thinking how to convince her to go to Wen Ting's Place)

Pei Li: Hey come up lah, I have something to show you.
Jo Ann: Later lah, I need to get my money so I can go supper wif you guys.
Pei Li: No you must come see what I gave Wen Ting
Jo Ann: Ok lah, lets go

So we walk up to Wen Ting's palace and her friend was waiting outside, Then we headed up to Wen Ting's place and then in Wen Ting's Room

Wen Ting: Yah lor, but enough lah.
Shannon: So how Many rooms, Owww this is the bath room
Wenting: Jo Ann, show shannon Tim's room
Jo Ann: Sure (Then She opens the door)

Then We called her out of the bath room and calmed her down.

Saturday night Dinner

On Saturday night I cooked dhall, Meat Curry and vege for dinner. Soo Fung came over and joined me and my sister to pig out. We ate dinner to Meet the Robinsons movie. It was awesome

Funeral

The recent saturday I had to attend my first funeral. My aunty's best friend's mother passed away so me and my sister followed my aunty for the funeral.

Funerals here is so different, Back home the body will be brought home and everyone will come over to meet the family. Here the body will be sent to the funeral parlor and the wake will be done at the parlor.

This is my aunty and sister just at the start of the service.
This is the church front. Then they will allow everyone to pay their last respects and then close the coffin before the service commence.

After the service a light lunch is held in the hall so that everyone can mingle and meet the family.

This is like the first time for me seeing so many sri lanken's in 1 room which are not related to me.

Long Weekend

Last thursday when we were having class, the fire alarm went off and we continued with our work ignoring the alarm. After like 30 min my lecturer says to the class " Ok everyone there is a real fire so please vacate the premises" Everyone was hesitant to leave as they were cooking half way. but after much oersuation we left our cooking and went outside.

Later we found out that the class room opposite of us had burnt something in the oven and cause the smoke the trigger the alarm. So since we were outside we took some photos with the truck behind us.

After 9 weeks of studying and 2 weeks of easter break, Today in my last day on term 1 and monday i will start term 2.

Today is also my last day od exams Yahoooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is kitchen practical and i think i will fly through it.

Time had flown by so quickly and i just want to make a shout out to Hui Min and Daniel who just celebrated their birthday a few days ago.

Life here has been good so far and am really enjoying it. But I miss church and all that ministry, pastors and friends

Term 1 is almost over with just 2 weeks of school left, after 1 more week of holiday.
I am currently in my second week of easter break and time has just flown by so quickly

Before i continue, I would like to bid my faithful readers a Blessed Easter.

So my holiday began 2 saturdays a go and so many things happened.

The Sunday of my first week of holiday was spent making Char Koay Teow for the family where my cousins,uncle and aunt came over for lunch.

Then in the evening i went home with my sister and we stopped by K-mart to do some shopping.

On Monday I had to work at the zoo and on Tuesday had to head back to south Vermont after music practice for Easter Sunday.

On Wednesday i stayed home and baked a cake for my cousins birthday which we were celebrating on Thursday night.

So in conjunction with my cousins birthday I cooked dinner and it was a three course dinner
For starters we had Pumpkin soup, followed by a roasted leg of lamb and to complete the meal we had cake.

Then on Friday I followed my aunt, uncle and sister to City Life church for Good Friday Service.
and my cousin left that morning to go to Appolo Bay for the weekend with his friends

On Friday we spent some time with my aunt before sending her off to the airport, as she was leaving for bangkok followed by Malaysia and Singapore on Friday night.

Is my life exiting enough?

On Saturday, we had to leave my aunt's early as we had to head back to the city to meet Justin, Aunty Nancy and Becky for lunch as Aunty Nan was leaving on Saturday evening to head back home.
So we went for Yam Cha at Golden Dragon Palace.

Then on Saturday after lunch, I had to head to church as I was on duty for Easter service.

On Sunday morning I was on duty again and we had a beautiful string quartet for an easter presentation.

On Sunday afternoon we had to go over to my uncle's house for an easter Lunch, We had BBQ for lunch, then the uncle I am staying with took me and my sister for a movie and dinner.

And today Monday I slept like a pig and woke up at 5PM.

How great was my week and I thought I was on a holiday.

Food and Wine Festival

In conjunction with FINA, There was a Food and Wine festival held in Federation Square. Mostly every week an event is held here to cater for the tourist in Melbourne.

Me and my sister decided to visit this event last sunday after service. We started off at the chocolate lane, Here they were giving out chocolates to people to taste and they were great.

Then we headed down to the yarra river where the festival was held and we went to this tent where they were selling Spanish croissants topped with chocolate, and to make it worse we ordered Spanish hot chocolate. That was the best chocolate i have had so far.

Then we went up to the square area and there was a life cooking demo.

After eating all the chocolates, like a child you will get this contented face.

Then to end our day, we went shopping and this was a very good sign and thought I would share it with all my faithful readers.

How big is Melbourne?

After getting to Melbourne, I recon it was a big city.

Yesterday my experience change this thought.

Why?

Let me tell you why.

I was on the Tram getting back after work and was so tired. So I sat down and was facing the front of the tram, As I was talking to my new friend Lisa from England an old lady got up the tram and said to her old husband " I will sit down when someone gets off the Tram" Me being a nice young man got up and offered her my seat.

Now I was standing and talking to my friend and was facing the side of the Tram, and Lol and behold I saw this girl seating at the last seat of the first coach.

She looked pretty femiliar, Then i thought to my self it is impossible.
Then I thought "Why not just call out her name and if she answers then it will be her"
So I called out "Lee Anne"

The girl looked up and look straight at me, then she got up and came towards me and gave me a hug. And yes she was my neibough back in Malaysia and she attended ISCA and we went to the same church. I was totally suppriesed to see her here in Melbourne.

Now tell me how much smaller can melbourne get?

So I have another friend here, Looks like we can start a little Metro here.

Moomba Festival

Last weekend i was tied up at the moomba festival, also known as the waterfest.

This is held every year where labour day falls on the weekend. It was fantastic and packed
I made close to 500 coffee's a day, it was great.

I feel so tired now that it is over and wish to get some sleep. In Kl i can servive with 3 hours sleep and here I get 8 hours and it is still not enough. why why why????

Is is because the weather is so beautiful and cold? I always wonder why people overseas can sit in the hot sun and enjoy it, Now I know why. because you dont sweat and the wind is damm cold and you will look for the sun to warm up.

I have to go for class now so Bye for now.

Last Sunday

Last Sunday I mixed for service and usually if you are new anywhere someone will be by your side to make sure everything gioes well.

Well in this church They left me there and everyone dissapeard until after service, but by Gods grace everything when well and everyone loved my mixing.

Give God all the glory for the fine practice i had at Metro. Imagine mixing for 1700 members per service.

Last last sunday pastor davis didi something that reminded me of Pas Ong. U know when we sing a hymm in service, then pastor will go up and sing it again at the end?

Pas david went up the stage and said "I am sorry but i come from a small baptist church, it will be nice if we can sing the hymm again" this reminded me of Pas ong and I felt so at home.

The Hymm was Holy Holy Holy Lord God Almighty.

Walking horizontally

Some people find it hard to walk vertically, how about people who walk horizontally. You must be wondering how do people do it? here people don't take the stairs or escalators to go to the next floor in the mall, they just walk up the walls, or the just walk down the walls.

When i say walk means they literally walk and not climb.

Take a look and see this is a whole new shopping experience for anyone.

Do you think people are crazy, it would be faster to take the stairs.

but these 4 ppl did it and it looked sooooooooo cool i am sure they had lots of fun.

It was like floating in the air with a wall next to you.

Do you know why I say this? This is why.

When you go to the supermarket, lets take giant for instance you will grab your stuff and proceed to a long line of people to head to the cashier.

Right? then after waiting in the long line you have to get this cashier that is the most unfriendly one in the world, they will have this sulky face on and maybe they are wearing tooo much make up or not wearing any at all.

Here in Big W they have created a system that you dont face any cashier when you are paying ant there in no Q.

You must be thinking I am joking. Take a look and see

So you touch the panel (Screen) then you scan your products. then you select your payment method. You can pay by atm card, credit card, debit card and the best of all CASH.

After scaning the product you cannot pay until you have placed the product into the provided plastic bags, cause when you but the product in it will give weight and register the number of products you are bagging.

Then after paying you can proceed to leave the store.

Cool eh, But sorry to those guys who plan to steal, if the product is not scanned then the beeper will beep and when the beeper beeps you can guess what will happen to you.

Durian Mmmmmmmmmmm

I was dreaming of durian on saturday and thinking how can i get durian into my system. So the closest i can get to durian wold be in an ice-cream.

So I went to this place in laigon street where gelato ice cream is sold and thay are the only once that have a durian flavoured one. but they definitely make the best fererro roche ice cream in the whole of australia. it is like eating tons of ferrero choc balls all crushed to form an ice cream.

So you an see my ice cream cone above it is a scoop of durian at the bottom and a scoop of fererro on the top. It was marvelous, it is a must try.

See how crowded the shop is and it is like this most of the day. The Ice ream is soo fresh cause they can sell up to 3 tubs in 1 day and the ice cream here are made fresh daily.

On Chinese New Year's Day I went to church, it was not like at home where everyone serving on stage was Indian or still in KL. Church here was jam packed and we had a guest speaker.

You will not guess who i bumped into in church, It was Rebbecca Wong AKA Becky Wong
she was there alone so she joined us for lunch.

After church we went for Korean Lunch (The closest we can get to chinese food).

Welcoming the Year of the Golden pig in Melbourne

This year CNY was very different for me, There was no open house visitation and no ang pow the most important thing about CNY. There was no friends to hang around with and miss going to villie's house for tea and aunty Hannah pulling me behind th church either before or after service to give me an Ang Pow.

The was no Ee sand tossing (Hopefully i will remain my long life). I know God will still sustain me. Miss last years celebration where I went to Kim Moi's House, Pas Seok's House also Raymond's House and all the other people I visited last year.

This year there was not really an opportunity to wish anyone Sin Yen Kwai Le(I think that's how it is pronounced). but 1 of my church mate made pineapple tarts and penut butter cookies it was awesome.

On the eve of CNY I was in my Aunt's place where we had beacon and eggs for breakfast and for lunch we had some food like those we will have back home at Thurkah's.

In the evening me and my sis was headed towards town, and decided we will stop by Bourke street where china town was. The place was jam packed and the sound of the fire works was enough to make u deaf and then we say a herd of people following the Lion. haha it was cool.

Same like back in Malaysia, it was extremely hot here where the peak was 38 degrees.

Yesterday was a long day for me. I woke up at 7.30 in the morning so that i can follow my uncle to the train station where i will head to the city.

My class only starts at 5pm, but i was going early to help Justin Wong to move house. I arrived at the 10am in the city and headed straight to QV, where my gym is located to place my bags in the locker.

Then I headed straight to justin's place to meet him and shamim a long time friend back in Malaysia. So we headed straight to rent a van to help us help justin to move house.

Justin was moving from Caufield to the City, just close by to Melbourne University which is like 5 min walk from my sisters place, So we are practically neighbors now.

After loading up the van, we went for lunch, then back to Justin's new place to upload the stuff.
We were done by 4 pm, then I rushed to the gym to shower and also iron my uniform.

Then rushed down to college for my 5 pm class, my class ended at about 9.30 pm and I call my sister to find that my cousins 13th birthday had just started.

So I got a train down to Glenn Hauntly where my cousin came and picked me up.

Went over to my uncle's house for dinner and then headed to my aunt's house where me and my sister stayed the night.

1 Week of college is over and I am piled up on assignments. I get a Thursday off during the week and on Wednesdays I make desserts and Friday nights I do commercial cookery.

Last Wednesday we did 2 desserts, Poach pears and white wine jelly with fruits

Bak Kut Teh

I was Dreaming of Bak Kut Teh. Was not really untill Vincent told me he bryan and josh were going to klang to have it.

So I went to buy some pork meat and pork ribs to make myself some bak kut teh.

It was almost as good and the bak kut teh at jalan Ipoh only the Tou Pok that I bought was horrible.
And to complete the great meal, I made apple pie it was great.

St Kilda Festival

Last sunday was totally great. We ( me and my sis) went to St Kilda's Festival. During the summer, many festivals are held throughout Melbourne and the St Kilda Festival is one of them. It is called the St Kilda Festival mainly because it is held in St Kilda by the sea side.

Below I will Show you some of the great pictures i captured with my tiny phone.

Try looking at the photo above and try to guess how many people there are in there. I thing there must be thousands, Looked like we were walking up towards an ant hill.
We had to push ourselves through sooooo many people and fight the intensively strong wind to walk towards the festival.

we started our journey from home of cause then we walked up victoria street toward swanston.
from swanston we grab the no 15 tram to the festival. The journey took us approximately 45 minuets.

After arriving there and making our way through the stampede of people I saw the most interesting game. Have a look see.

Any Idea?
There are actually 2 people in the ball being catapult towards the sky.It is just like bungee jumping but instead of jumping down, you are being tossed into the air. It must be scary. The ride cost $30 it was too expensive for my pocket, so I did not try it.

Then we passed by some people who were just sitting around and enjoying the strong wind and the hot sun.

Look how strong the wind was. it looked like the trees were going to be uprooted.

We got home at 12 midnight that night and was exhausted. I had a class at 8.30 the next morning and was afraid I could not wake up in time for class.

Overall the festival was a blast.

PIPI

I have not posted anything for along time cause I was packed up on the week end and 2 days
so that day on saturday (Thats where I will start) we went to springvale so we bought PIPI (aka Lala aka Surf Clams) so when we came back I cooked pipi for dinner. the photos will explain it self. It tasted sooooooo gooooooooood, I cooked it with belacan and garlic stalks.

Springvale

This morning me and my sister was planing to have pancakes for breakfast and after go shopping to get some stuff for me, but at 8.30 her friend Soo Fung called and ask if we would like to follow her to springvale.

Springvale is a Vietnamese town where marketing can be done at a reasonable price.

Today we purchased pork to make Bak Kut Teh and wan ton.

The place has several malls but they do not sell clothes but seafood, meat, fruits and vege.

These are the few thing we saw this morning.

Hoyts

Last night my sister took me for a treat to watch a movie.

We went down to Melbourne central to watch pursuit to happyness, lead actor Will smith and his son.

The story is based on a true story, for further info on the movie please go and read it by yourself

Damm the cinema was awesome, This is the first time when i am seated I dont have to stand up to let someone go by. There is ample leg room and the seat are huge. If wan Tze and Hui min plans to catch the show together they can buy 1 seat and it will be sufficient. See for yourself

Sir William Angliss Centre

Hi guys and gals, This here is my college. Orientation week went well and i almost did not have a class, My course coordinator was placing students into their classes based on the old name list he was holding.

As I was a last minute addition to this batch, surprise my name was not on the list and I was not assigned to any class or group.

I was feeling devastated at that moment, but what can I do? what should I do? the course coordinator told me to go home and it was his mistake, of cause he apologist to me and told me to come back on Monday at 11 to know which class he has placed me in.

I went back and thought over it, then it click my mind " the place cannot be full cause the program office are watching the number of applicants closely" then i text my coordinator and advised him to compare the new list and old list to see which are the students that are not in the list anymore.

Then he calls me to inform me that he had already arranged a place for me and i start at 8 on Monday. Phew that was a releave...................

My visit to MCG

Yesterday after a boring day of orientation, we (The pastry and cookery group of students) were informed to comeback tomorrow which is today at 8.30 as we were going on an excursion.

The first thing that cross my mind or any of my other course mates were that we were going to visit a factory called MCG where we were going to see some cooking process or people who are working in the hotel industry.

This morning we gathered at the college at 8.30 in the morning. We thought we were waiting for the bus. Then at 9 o'clock this guy named Andrew gathered us together and split us into 4 groups, so all the pastry students went together.

We taught we were walking to a bus pick up point, to our surprise we walked for 1 hour and there was no bus, then as we were walking we saw the sign board MCG "Melbourne Cricket Ground".

So we were not going to see any kitchen, we were going for an excursion to the MCG. ha ha we were fooled.

So these are the things i saw:

This is the Pitching ground, the stadium can seat
up to 100,000.00 people. the tour guide said that the most people that this stadium contained was 100,022.00 people. awesome isn't it

And this is how the stadium looked like when it was opened. This is the first stadium where the first test was hit. The guide was saying that every time there was a new technology, the government will tear down a portion of the stadium and reconstruct.

After the long walk we headed back home, and it wasn't that bad. At least I have visited the place tourist and locals head to on the weekends. The 1956 Olympic games was also held at this stadium.

It is a bagel, not any bagel but a blueberry bagel, When I first saw it my impression was "I am not eating that it is blue"

But after toasting it and spreading cream cheese, Hmmmmm it is awsome. So Edwin don't spread butter but cream cheese is soooooooo great.

But the secret about this place is walk around and compare prices as the deeper you go the cheaper it is. It reminds me a lot of Petaling Street.

If you come to Melbourne, this is one of the must visit spots. And guess what I live opposite it.

My Journey to IKEA

Today I woke up at 10 to go to Richmond AOG to meet my sis. I had to board this tram,

I was meeting her so that we can go to IKEA together. After service we decided to go down Victoria street to this Vietnamese place for lunch.

And to our surprise the whole street was closed as they were celebrating the LUNAR NEW YEAR. it was cool. I have this weird sandwich for lunch but it tasted awesome.

Then due to the road closure all trams were stopped and replaced by buses, the bus was paked like a sardine can. then we arrived at IKEA and did some shopping

On the way home we saw the sign board saying "20 minuet hand wash for 14.90"
It was the most expensive place to wash your hands. haha (It is actually a Car wash using their hands)

Now I am headed off to churc to attend service, will update more later

Today's A B-E-A-U-tiful day

After a hot day yesterday, the weather today was splendid, hitting 29 degrees the cool wind brushed against your face when you walk.

Today I woke up at 1 pm(I know it is kind of late but I slept at 3 am) the i walked to Victoria Market to buy some fruits, for 5$ I got 4 pears, 4 peaches, 5 apples and 6 banana's.
Isn't that great.

Then my sister called and ask me to meet her in the city so that we can do our grocery shopping, so we shopped till my hands nearly disconnected carrying the items.

But thank got I made it home in 1 peace.

At 8.10 pm i took this shot, See how beautiful and bright it is.

I am planning to go to bed early tonight as there is a long day ahead of me tomorrow.

I am going to IKEA to grab a few stuff.........

BBQ for Nonci's Farewell

Last night i went for a farewell party of my sister's friend who is leaving for Perth to study.

The food was awesome, Like the party at my place it was a potluck.
I made bbq pineapple dipped into chocolate sauce (Many ppl's favorite)

Anyway we had to take a 45 min bus ride there and back, on the way back the bus driver informed that his petrol was finishing and needed to be refilled or we will need to push the bus.

So he stopped us at this deserted place which look like a bus grave yard as there was no shops or ppl around. I was dark and scary.

Anyway he got a new bus and we continued our journey to flinder's where we will catch the tram back home.

Hot Day in Melbourne

To day is 31 degrees, not that bad quite tolerant. I had to go down to smith street where the NIKE factory outlet resided, so that i can purchase my new pair of shoes.

As my luggage was overweight i could not bring my pair of nike's so i bought a new one.
tomorrow i am going to the gym (Fitness first) where i am now a proud platinum member.

So no matter which part of the world i am in I can go to the gym

My resolution for this year is to loose weight

My Melbourne Journey

My journey was a long and tiring one, It started in Malaysia when i was at KLIA 1st of all my luggage was overweight and the check in counter did not want to let me go through, so with the help of Samuel and Vincent I had to repack my luggage at the airport. (I forgot to put in my sport shoes) after that we went to McD's to grab a bite as I had not had lunch. Going down the escalator I turned around to say good bye to Samuel Chin, Jireh Ho, Sirn Loong, Vincent and Kevin.

After passing the Malaysia customs I headed to the Train to board my Plane......
The ride to Singapore where I was to take a transit plain lasted for 45 minutes.

Although I have gone to Singapore several times, This was my first time entering the Airport. And to my surprise I had a 20 min walk + Train ride to reach my check in counter at Terminal 1. As I was checking in the Singaporean custom could not accept my VISA as it was their first time checking in with an E-VISA. After several phone calls my access was granted.

The guy checking my passport looked at me several times then said "Remove your glasses please" then looked at me several times again, before handing me the passport he look at me again as though I did no own the passport.

Then I boarded my plane which will send me to Perth where I will transfer to a plane to Melbourne. The journey took 6 hours and who said Quantas had larger seats? It is just like Singapore Airlines and Malaysian Airlines, But I must admit that the movies are clearer on Quantas.

After a long and tiring journey I arrived at the Perth International Airport at 2.10am local time. And Lo and Behold i had to take a 20 min Cab ride to the Domestic airport to transit to Melbourne, The cab cost me A$ 20 (MYR60) what the crap.

Then I boarded my plane at 6.10 local time to head to Melbourne and it was a small 737 where I had to sit next to a huge guy and that was he most uncomfortable 5 hours flight I ever had.

Then I arrived at Melbourne and headed straight to my sister's house where i slept until my sister come which was 6pm local time.

Great Dissapointment

As we were flying towards brightness and leaving darkness behind us, I spotted a snowflake on my window and was very fascinated by this. As I grabbed into my pouch to pull out my camera I was devastated to find my LCD screen shattered, the only thing that cross my point at that point of time was " What the hell I am going for a holiday and can't take any pictures.

However I still took pictures using my camera and most of them were fantastic.

Arriving In Melbourne

After a 7 hour flight, we (me and my mum) arrived in Melbourne airport Australia. It was a warm night where hot air brushed on our faces, we were waiting for my sister to arrive as she was meeting us at the airport.

We were in Australia to attend her graduation after completing 4 years of studies at Melbourne Uni. Time has flown so fast and I can't believe I am back here after 2 years when I last visited here in fall 2004.

I was extremely tired after the long flight. I slept at 2am on the morning before flying and had to wake up at 5 am to give a wake up call to Daniel Ng as he was sending us to the airport. After leaving the house, when we were passing Safari Lagoon I realized that I have forgotten to pack my camera charger, so we made a U turn to head home again.

As we were checking in at the airport (KLIA) the lady asked us for our visa and we informed her that it was with the ticket we had handed her, to our surprise the idiotic agent did not prepare the visa that we had paid her for.

This is where I begin to LOVE MALAYSIA, thanks to our improvement in IT the Visa was processed over the phone when I called the Travel Agent, via the GDS system.

Due to all the screw ups i did not have breakfast at all and was dammmm hungry, thank god they served us Lunch at 11 and not 1 or I would have died of hunger
